CREATIVE ACCESS RESOURCE PROJECT

"I don't usually like to go to galleries, but I liked this!“

A Year 3 (Level 6) project with the Creative and Therapeutic Arts students at USW. Students make and trial Creative Access Resource Prototypes in response to selected artworks at the National Museum of Wales with members of the museum's Visually Impaired Group. The resources are made in the hope of making the artworks more accessible for the public and are often multi-sensory in their design, from tactile plates to textile works, from audio description to soundscapes, from scented items to objects found and made, to light boxes, three-dimensional images / dioramas to items to wear.
